"Oh Mary is such an old name" Marigold said once. Secretly she wished people would always call her by her full name, but she let the truncating go on so long, she felt it was too much to ask people to change it up now. Recently something embarrassing has happened to Mary – hence the egg on her face. The thing is, she feels s safe with these friends and can share. Marigold was very set on having a waffle for brunch and was so relieved to find out that they hadn’t run out by the time they got there. She's the least confident of the friends but growing, growing, growing like the flower she is.
