Oppressive Bluebonnets 2023

If you have ever seen the bluebonnets along the highway, here is a way to bring that memory into your home. These paintings have texture and richness reflecting the landscape of Texas.

However, in these times, many of us may find ourselves feeling more than one feeling simultaneously. In Texas and with these paintings, I confront loving bluebonnets and the difficulty of accepting all of the laws enacted by the state in the past year. To support this work, 20% of the revenue (from sales in March + April 2023) from this painting sale was split between the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) and The Lilith Fund.
