This is the largest painting in the collection. Many shades of green evoke the energy of the forest. Branches intertwine, roots bulge up from the ground a male cardinal can be spotted. Female ones are less showy and slightly invisible. There’s a lot of texture in this painting as this is the 3rd painting that has been on this canvas. I kept the title from the first painting because it felt right when I saw it after a long time. Bits of the other paintings show through. You can maybe spot some hydrangeas if you are very keen and flashes of red could be anything. The edges are green.
